Big Bear On-Demand
Can’t make the day and event is on? We’ve got you covered! Big Bear On-Demand is our way to encourage you to get out on our courses all year round! Using the all powerful Skamper app you can have a great run, hike or walk on our courses all year round and we’ll send you the corresponding medal too!
Skamper is a great, simple, app that allows you to follow the Big Bear course using your phone. As there will be no signage out on the route on non-event days the app will lead the way. It will also collect your time, give you a Skamper score (think age-grading but with more behind-the-scenes maths!) and after you’ve used it a few times it will predict your times on other Skamper courses and landmark events too!
We’ll send out the medal you select when you order it. The hope is it’ll be there waiting for you at the end - much like an in-person event! If you would prefer we sent it out after you’ve completed the Skamper course do let me know. All On-Demand medals will be re-ribboned with a special On-demand ribbon too. The list of courses-medals is below. You will always be able to pick up our latest medals first at our in-person events.
